As we head into the final few weeks of the 2026 season, there is still plenty happening for us, both on and off the field.

Final Games – Let’s Finish Strong!

This Saturday sees another important round of fixtures for our men's senior sides as we approach the business end of the league season.

We’d like to wish all of our teams and players the very best of luck this weekend and in their remaining fixtures. Whatever your team is playing for, let’s finish the season strongly, enjoy our cricket, represent the club in the right way and do us PROUD!

And, as always, if you’re not playing, please get along and support one of our teams if you can. Players, supporters, scorers, umpires and volunteers all make a difference.

Dates for Your Diary

The cricket might be coming towards an end, but September and October are, as usual, nice and busy!

Junior Awards Day – Sunday 13th September, 2pm

Our Junior End of Season Awards Day takes place at the Hospital Ground from 2pm on Sunday 13th September.

We’ve got a great afternoon planned with a Mixed T20 Cricket Match, Bar, Pizza and Awards for our U11s, U13s & U15s age groups.

A poll has already been sent out via the relevant WhatsApp groups, so please let us know your attendance as soon as possible to help with planning and catering.

It should be a fantastic afternoon celebrating our young players and another brilliant season for the junior section.

All Adult Players' End of Season Night – Saturday 19th September

Once the final league games are completed, our adult players from both the men's and women's sections will be heading back to – or staying at – the Hospital Ground.

It’s a chance to relax, enjoy a few drinks and celebrate the season together after the final matches have been played. There may even be a few impromptu awards dished out along the way! :-)

Men's Section: Adult End of Season Awards Night & Dinner – Saturday 26th September

Always one of the highlights of the club calendar, it’s our opportunity to get everyone together, partners included, recognise individual and team achievements and celebrate the season properly.

A payment link will be sent out early next week, and we would ask everyone attending to please **book and pay promptly** once it arrives. This really helps us confirm numbers and finalise the arrangements and catering.

Please make a big effort to attend, it would be great to see as many of you there as possible.

Women's Section: Adult End of Season Celebration – Saturday 3rd October

Last but certainly not least, our Women's section will bring their season to a close with their own End of Season Celebration on Saturday 3rd October.

It’s been another hugely positive year for the section and another opportunity to get everyone together and celebrate the season.

More details will follow shortly.

A huge thank you to all our players, captains, coaches, managers, scorers, umpires, volunteers, sponsors, parents and supporters for everything you continue to contribute.

For now, the focus is firmly on the cricket. Let’s make these final games count, finish strongly across all our teams and then enjoy celebrating the 2026 season together.

Good luck to everyone representing YOUR club this weekend and for those of you not playing and unable to attend a game, please watch the 1st team game on our very own YouTube channel [CLICK HERE]
